In Sweden there are many traditions to keep track of. The big ones are like many other places, Christmas and Easter. But also Midsummer is a big weekend - as Midsummer eve always is celebrated on a Friday. There is dancing around Midsummer poles, schnapps drinking and flowers in the hair. This is also a day when Swedish flags are essential. In August there is the crayfish parties with hats, bibs and special lamps, also then schnapps is important - as it is at (Christmas and Easter too:¬)).
