1 september - den första officiella höstdagen kan man väl kalla det. I Nya Zeeland är det dock vårens officiella startdag så allt är relativt som vanligt.

Hur man ser svenskar är också relativt. Man måste bara skratta då man läser Colin Moons böcker.

Den första boken är väl mer ett häfte egentligen och är en sammanfattning om hur "weird and wonderful" Swedes är. I den hittar du kommentarer om svensk mat, uppfinningar, lagar, allemansrätten, snaps och semster och mycket mer. Här är ett utdrag ur "Sweden The Secret Files":

"The Swedish summer is the warmest day of the year. And as Sweden is a very normal country, it is normal for the Swedish summer to be a bit colder than normal."

"The Swedish winter. ...The truth is that there are two types of winter in Sweden. A grey one and a white one. Swedes survive the winter only by dreaming of what they are going to do on that summer's day."

"In the secret garden of Sweden" är mer utförlig och här skriver Colin om allt du kan tänka dig. Om mygg, jul, jaga, kungafamilj, statistik, balkonger, tvättstugan, tv och lagomheten. Utdrag ur "In the secret garden of Sweden":

"...Not only do they have red days as the Swedes call their official holidays, but they might be given half the day off before, just to get them into the holiday mood..."

swedes@meetings.se är boken för er som jobbar på kontor. Här handlar det helt om mentaliteten på jobbet. Colin är facinerad av allt kaffe vi dricker och framför allt alla möten. Han fattar inte hur vi kan hinna gå på alla dessa möten och ändå vara så produktiva. En helt underbar present till ert jobb utomlands så de förstår var ni kommer ifrån :¬)
